Hi Wolves fans! Hope you are doing well! In my last blog post, I wrote about the Wolves Wives fundraising we did in February, so I'm starting this post talking about that.

Last year we raised $20,000! And guess what? This year we did even better!! Together we raised over $21,000!! So a huge thanks to all the amazing Wolves fans that made this possible, you are awesome! I'm so honored to be a part of all the charity and to get to meet all of you was just so much fun! Hope you all enjoyed it as well!

Anton's family visited us during February as well. It's always nice to have some Swedish visitors here, makes it feels more like home. They only got to see him play one game though, before he had surgery, but the good thing is he scored that game! Anyway, Anton had to stay in bed for a couple of days to rest so I took his family out to see Chicago anyway. We went downtown, visited John Hancock for a nice view and some snacks, shopped a lot, went to the mall like 100 times, etc. So to be honest, I don't think Anton was very sad about staying home from the mall and to be served by all of us for a few days. However, his family left a week ago and Anton is back on the track again.

Currently, the guys have been in Texas since Thursday. I'm trying to keep myself busy to make the time go fast. If you follow my fashion blog you may know that I put a lot of time and work behind it with pictures and editing everyday. This Saturday, I met Brad Hunt's and Mark Matheson's other half, Katie and Mackenzie, for a movie. We saw "Silver Linings Playbook" and I really liked it! After the movie, we brought some take out sushi and went to Mackenzie's place to watch the game together.

See you all again soon!

Miami Getaway and Wrapping Pucks http://www.chicagowolves.org/multimedia/blogs-and-podcasts/kristen-sundberg-blog/item/3478-miami-getaway-and-wrapping-pucks http://www.chicagowolves.org/multimedia/blogs-and-podcasts/kristen-sundberg-blog/item/3478-miami-getaway-and-wrapping-pucks Miami Getaway and Wrapping Pucks

Hey, Wolves fans! Like I said in my last blog post, my friend from Sweden has been in town to visit me and Anton for three weeks. When the guys went to Abbotsford for a long road trip my friend and I decided to go to Miami for a few days.

I had never been anywhere else in the States before, so I was really excited to go on this trip with my best friend. We had a lot to catching up to do having been away from each other for three months. Miami and South Beach was better than I expected. I already had high expectations about Miami, but it was honestly even better than I thought.

Back in Chicago, it was time to start preparing for our biggest charity event of the year, the Wolves Wives puck fundraiser! This week, all the wives and girlfriends will meet at the Chicago Wolves office to wrap pucks that we are going to sell throughout the month of February. These pucks are autographed by Wolves players and wrapped with candy. Many pucks are signed in gold and fans who are lucky enough to select one of those pucks are able to meet that player after the game. Last year we raised our goal because of the fans and this year we really hope we can do even better! Hope I'll see you all at the game on Saturday!

Christmas and New Year's Recap http://www.chicagowolves.org/multimedia/blogs-and-podcasts/kristen-sundberg-blog/item/3418-christmas-and-new-years-recap http://www.chicagowolves.org/multimedia/blogs-and-podcasts/kristen-sundberg-blog/item/3418-christmas-and-new-years-recap Christmas and New Year's Recap

Hey Wolves fans! Hope you all had an amazing Christmas and New Year's Eve!

sundberg rodin nyeIn Sweden, we celebrate Christmas on December 24 with family, lots of Swedish food, presents, and the arrival of Santa. But only if you've been nice of course!

In Chicago, Wolves owner Don Levin hosts a Christmas Eve dinner at his house for Chicago Wolves players and their family. It was our second year celebrating Christmas here in Chicago. It's a little bit too far for us to go home to Sweden and celebrate, so exactly like last year, Don made it a little bit extra special for us Swedes! We got all kind of Swedish food we possible could wish for. We got ham, meatballs, mini sausages, eggs, salmon, cheese, Swedish roe among other things. We couldn't have been happier about what he does for us!

Last week, one of my best friends from Sweden arrived to celebrate New Year's Eve here in Chicago with us. We celebrated NYE with the rest of the team and I had a lot of fun! So far 2013 has been great and I hope it will continue all year long. Next week, the guys are going to Abbotsford for a long road trip, so I'm pretty happy my friend will still be here with me. The best part is we are going on a trip together before she's heading back to Sweden.

All the wives and girlfriends from the team want to wish all the Chicago Wolves fans a Happy New Year. Let's make 2013 a great year!

Obsessed with Call Of Duty http://www.chicagowolves.org/multimedia/blogs-and-podcasts/kristen-sundberg-blog/item/3409-obsessed-with-call-of-duty http://www.chicagowolves.org/multimedia/blogs-and-podcasts/kristen-sundberg-blog/item/3409-obsessed-with-call-of-duty Obsessed with Call Of Duty

Hope you all are doing well! I thought you might want know what Anton and I do when we're home or he has a day off? Your first thought is probably a movie, candles and a nice dinner or something? Sometimes we do, but usually when we're home we play Xbox, and our favorite game by far is Call of Duty.

When I first met Anton three years ago, he never played any kind of video games. But after a while he started to play Call of Duty, and thus started his video game addiction. It didn't take more than a few days until I realized how boring it was to watch him play all the time, so I thought it would be more fun to play than watch. I was right and that was the day I became a game freak. It's really fun to play together on the same TV, but sometimes when Anton is on the road I play by myself as well.

I guess you are wondering if I can beat Anton? If you ask him, he will probably laugh at you and say no. But ask me, and I'll tell you the truth! Yes I've beaten Anton, and more than once. I really like to play, it's just so much fun, especially when I beat Anton! He usually acts like he doesn't care when I beat him, but I know it's killing him inside.

Thanksgiving Wrap Up http://www.chicagowolves.org/multimedia/blogs-and-podcasts/kristen-sundberg-blog/item/3381-thanksgiving-wrap-up http://www.chicagowolves.org/multimedia/blogs-and-podcasts/kristen-sundberg-blog/item/3381-thanksgiving-wrap-up Thanksgiving Wrap Up

Hi wolves fans! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and got some Black Friday shopping taken care of!

anton kristin thanksgivingThis was me and Anton's second time celebrating Thanksgiving. We attended at the Drake Hotel with the rest of the Wolves to have early dinner together before the guys had to leave after a few hours for a game the next day. The event didn't disappoint anyone and the food was fantastic.

In Sweden we do not have a holiday like this, so I'm glad to be a part of this celebration here in the States and especially with the amazing Wolves team, all the girlfriends/wives and the owner Don Levin who always hosts the best events.

Thanksgiving food is really different from what we're used to inSweden, so I only had a piece of the amazing turkey and mashed potatoes on my plate. Then I tried the cranberry sauce and the stuffing. Anton ate a lot more though, I couldn't even get his attention during the dinner or the appetizers when he had shrimps, cheese and crackers to start his meal.

The past weekend all the wives and girlfriends got together for a baby shower for Ally Desbiens. Her baby is due in only a few weeks, so we had a luncheon to celebrate the new baby as well as showered her with gifts.

When The Boys Are Away... http://www.chicagowolves.org/multimedia/blogs-and-podcasts/kristen-sundberg-blog/item/3345-when-the-boys-are-away http://www.chicagowolves.org/multimedia/blogs-and-podcasts/kristen-sundberg-blog/item/3345-when-the-boys-are-away When The Boys Are Away...

This past weekend the boys were away on their Charlotte road trip. This was a tough trip for the girls, because it was a long trip and it was early in the season!

So to make the trip go by faster we all got together Saturday at Dorah's, (Kevin Connauton's other half!). Dorah is an amazing cook! She made us this yummy vegetable filled pasta dish. We also enjoyed mimosas and appetizers.

We watched the movie Magic Mike and talked about our weeks together. Some girls work, so we always have different stories to share!

When I'm not hanging out with the girls I'm usually at the gym, or writing about fashion in my other blog. Instead of the gym, I went and did yoga with Guillaume Desbien's other half, Ally Desbien. Ally is a yoga instructor, while this was my third time doing yoga in my life! Lets just say I have a lot to learn!

Last weekend I also got the opportunity to look after Darren and Sara Haydar's wonderful dog, Gilly. So on Sunday some of the girls had a long walk in the park together with the dogs.

On Monday, we got together and watched the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. A lot of the girls really enjoy this show, and it is always a major discussion topic for us!

Then on Tuesday I meet Stefan Schneider's other half Kaitlin for shopping at the mall. After almost five hours shopping our legs were tired and Kaitlin had to go home for schoolwork. So I went straight to our other Kaitlin, but this time Brad Hunt's girlfriend. She made us a delicious chicken dish that I really liked, and of course it was Brad's favorite dish! We had dinner and watched the guys game on TV before I went back home and slept with a smile on my face, because I knew I didn't have to sleep alone the next night because Anton was coming home!'

Fundraising and Halloween In The States http://www.chicagowolves.org/multimedia/blogs-and-podcasts/kristen-sundberg-blog/item/3336-fundraising-and-halloween-in-the-states http://www.chicagowolves.org/multimedia/blogs-and-podcasts/kristen-sundberg-blog/item/3336-fundraising-and-halloween-in-the-states Fundraising and Halloween In The States

This past Saturday we sold Stick It To Breast Cancer T-shirts as well as pink hockey pucks signed by goaltenders Eddie Lack and Matt Climie. During the first intermission, we sold pink hockey sticks that were used in warmups. Each stick was a $150 donation which will pay for a mammogram for a woman who can"t afford one. The fundraising was done by the girlfriends, wives and fiancees of the Wolves players and it was a great success!

Last year was my first year volunteering and it was an honor for me to be a part of it and to get to meet all the amazing Wolves fans! Coming into this year's season, I was really looking forward to raising money again and I think we all did a great job together last weekend!

As you all know, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. However, Halloween happens to be in October and Anton and I couldn't wait for it to come. So, how does the team celebrate Halloween? Well, we organized a Halloween dinner and bowling event. Everyone was of course dressed up and I must say everyone had awesome costumes. We had a great night together!

We also have Halloween in Sweden, but I have never seen it celebrated like it is here. Anton and I were so excited for Halloween this year and we had so much fun together! It's not really a big difference between Halloween back home and in the States. We celebrate it exactly same, but it's much more of everything here, your decorating is so much cooler! It's hard to even see a pumpkin at someone's house back home and here you can find them everywhere and I just love that!

Finally, here is a picture of me and Anton from the Halloween party. I was a pirate and Anton was Jackie Moon from the movie Semi Pro.

Sweden To Chicago http://www.chicagowolves.org/multimedia/blogs-and-podcasts/kristen-sundberg-blog/item/3321-sweden-to-chicago http://www.chicagowolves.org/multimedia/blogs-and-podcasts/kristen-sundberg-blog/item/3321-sweden-to-chicago Sweden To Chicago

Hey Chicago Wolves fans! My name is Kristin Sundberg, I'm one of the girlfriends from the team.

I've been dating #15 Anton Rodin for 2 1/2 years. This is my second year here in Chicago and it's our first time living this far away from where we come from, Sweden.

So, why am I here writing on your website? Well, I was asked to write a blog towards the end of last season, so I thought, why not? The reason to why I'm going to be blogging here is that I have a blog already and also because I'm the only girl from Europe right now. So, I have a little experience in blogging and you can visit my blog at kristinsundbergs.blogg.se where I post mostly pictures about fashion, and workouts.

For this blog, I'm going to write about all the fundraising that we do during the season, about the differences between Sweden and the States, what the wives do when the guys are on the road, and what me and Anton usually do when he has a day off.

I'm so excited to be blogging here for the Wolves fans and I hope you enjoy it!
